What do you think about medal of honor banning the taliban?

Medal of honor got rid of the taliban from multiplayer because american and british soldiers got angry about it and wanted stores to not sell it but mw2 had terrorist too but they called them something different whats your opinion? What do you think about medal of honor banning the taliban?
It was AAFES, and friends/families of fallen soldiers, who moved to ban the sale of Medal of Honor on base, not the American soldiers themselves. Personally I don't know a single military member who was offended by the inclusion of "Taliban," and understands that it is just a game. Not only had AAFES decided not to sell the game, but had requested any GameStop located on a military installation to do the same.

The game, which focuses on the current conflict in the Middle East allowing players to assume the role of both U.S. Forces and their opponents, attracted controversy in recent weeks following accusations that its subject matter is disrespectful to American soldiers in active service.

As a result EA made the decision to replace the word "Taliban" as a side in the multiplayer mode of the game with "Opposing Force", a decision executive producer Greg Goodrich said was driven by "feedback from friends and families of fallen soldiers."

Following these changes, the AAFES announced that it was "engaged in a thorough review to fully understand the extent of the modifications." However, last night it became clear the changes to the game do not go far enough to address the group's concerns.

“Out of respect to those touched by the ongoing, real-life events presented as a game, Exchanges will not be carrying this product,” AAFES Commander Maj. Gen. Bruce Casella said in a statement.

“While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, our position is consistent with the direction stated a month ago. I expect the military families who are authorized to shop the Exchange are aware, and understanding, of the decision not to carry this particular offering.”

As a military spouse myself, I don't buy my video games from the BX anyway. Their prices aren't even remotely competitive with the rest of the gaming market. I'm all for putting money back into the base, but with as many video games as my husband and I buy, I rather save a few dollars.

AAFES' decision to not sell MoH on base won't hurt the game's sales any, as any military member who wants it will simply shop off base/online for it instead. I believe those at AAFES may have jumped the gun a bit, but at the same time you have to ask yourself "is it too soon for a game like this?"What do you think about medal of honor banning the taliban?
I think it's stupid. To be honest, it makes them look like little bit*ches who stand for something and then as soon as it looks like sales might be down just a little they completely change what they made. It's all about realism and now they just took that back. Just because soldiers can't buy them on their base doesn't mean the game needs to be changed for everyone else in the world. What do you think about medal of honor banning the taliban?
I think it's ridiculous, who will have the taliban weapons in the game? did they change the name?
one word RETARDS simple as that no need for these five sentence answers
